Hinson LM83/21 1922. NHA APR1955.	NSR Type 2	NS Type 2 built on very substantial brick base extening down to bottom of embankment on which the line is built. Brick base has built out corners and a central pillar on front between which are arched locking room windows. There is also a wider arched unglazed window in the 'sub basement' level at the non steps end. Locking room door is under steps, centrally at track level. The steps are at the end facing traffic but are at 90º leading down to a walkway which bridges the gap between box and embankment. There is a walkway round the windows with a rail. The nameboards are central over the end windows. There is a top light in each end. The stove chimney is at the rear.	Front. 22 lever McK&H frame 5 spare (1922). 4 Spare (1955).	30OCT1966	1. Hinson LM83/20 1922	NSR Type 2 btf	NS Type 2 with three double paned windows. Wooden steps (9) away from traffic with open porch on platform at top. Square locking room window on from two double panes wide (i.e. 4 wide by 2 deep with wooden post in middle) located with top flush with top of brickwork. LMS pattern wooden nameboard centrally on end flush with top of window. Mark on front where older nameboard has been removed from weatherboarding one down from window sill. Only five horizontal boards. In Real photograph; Both home signals NSR lower quadrant. Nameboard central. Circular plate on Up home "Track" in white letters with white border with black band on signal post.	15 levers from new inc 4 spaces. By 1899 there were no spares - MT6. Nmn closure date of 21OCT1951 from notice transcribed by CRClinker. Not removed until late 1952. (BoT)		P - Overgrown with bushes but rubble still exists. Platform faces still extant.

NSR btf - No upper structure!	Open platform with 13 lever frame at front exposed to elements. Brick base is identical to Rolleston (i.e. square double framed locking room window with 4 wide x 2 high and bevelled top to brick base. Safety rail around platform and wooden nameboard fixed to floor/top of base centrally at front. Wooden steps (9) at traffic end but right angles to rails (no outer handrail). Two wooden pedestals at top of steps (containing phones etc?). Slack adjusters provided adjacent to both distant levers. Block post by October 1922 but only switched-in when shunting in loop.	Original NS structure replaced with g.f. 1953 - 1955, supervised by Dove Jn. As Dove Jn got a new diagram in Apr 1955, that probably marks date of abolition of this 'box'.

Walkway round windows with no rail, 'flowing' bargeboards. POST FIRE: Flat concrete roof, brick window surrounds at front, metal windows and steps. Walkway with no rails round front and ends. T shaped stove chimney to rear. Nameboards on front and non steps end flush with bottom of walkway brackets.Locking room windows on front reduced in size to 2x2 but still slightly arched. No trace of box or railway.

Hinson LM86/06a x2 1922 & 1954.	1. NSR Type 1 2. NSR Type 2 btf.	2. NS Type 2 with five double pane windows (i.e. 20 panes x 3 high). Three arched locking room windows on front which are replacements for two original larger standard Type 2 locking room windows. At back two smaler arched locking room windows have been substituted for original single standard pattern. Locking room door under steps which are wooden (10) and face traffic. Wooden enclosed porch with door at right angles to rails on platform at top of steps. Top light in eaves which are horizontal weatheboarding. LMS pattern nameboard fixed on barge-boards midway between top of windows and finials (with bottom of board flush with roof of porch). Walkway along front but no safety rail.	Box 2 contained front 46 lever (3 spare 1922). New chord to Horninglow Bridge, 2. Horninglow Gds Depot, 3. Hay Branch, 4. Wetmore Sdgs link, 5. Stretton Jnc & 6. Hawkins Lane depot.	Renamed 09MAY1954.
