'Back' has three 5'x4' double windows - blank section being second quarter from door where stove is sited. At front (i.e. away from main line). Reframed c.DEC1986 - Gough. 30 levers with no spares - Hinson. MR with 6in centres (18 spare) + 12 IFS (no spare). - NHA. IFS panel to date. Open 1. No finials by c1965. Wooden steps (17) away from traffic. Horizontal weather boarding (16). Locking room windows low in front of all three flakes (offset to centre post of 15' flakes) as well as on non-steps end (at least) toward front edge. Railed walkway round front and ends. Wooden nameboard on front mounted just above locking room windows. Stove at rear. Reframed 13DEC1903 & 13MAY23 - Gough. 52 levers with 2 spare from 1924 to c1960, 33 spare in 1967. Slued 28JAN1923 - Gough AH Harvey, H Allen, AW Longley - NUR1930. From Moira accident report 7.7pm 20th March 1935; Signalman on duty; A.H.Harvey - Woodville Jn. P - The now cleared site of Swains Park disposal point swept away any trace of this box with the ground level being raised.

MT6/1400/2 (02SEP1905) relates to all connections and signalling being removed by which time the box had been replaced by a Stage. 4. Opened as a WD measure for coal washery at Coton Old colliery. In view from the air it appears to be a MR box, so it was secondhand (or the 1923 one from here never removed)? 3. 631 yds closer to Burton than 2. Loc'n 1. n/k.
