MR Type 1 formed of single 15'x10' flake with pair of finials. Ssteps (c.13) toward traffic to landing offset toward front with door toward rear (ie F- two windows, door, one window- R. No window cleaning stage. Nameboard fitted on front just above floor height Large "number catcher" lamp on front toward steps end. No locking room windows on front.
3.. Type 2b with two 10' flakes and dormer vent at front centrally. Wooden nameplate over door (centrally on front c.18" under walkway in 1930). Single 2x2 locking room window on side at front and locking room door on side at rear. Wooden steps (19) facing traffic.

Derby Station North Junction C06 Bell Box Junction 3 20 yds N of end of P. 3/4 128m 40c 362357 Sp Derby Junction 216yd - Derby 'A' 242yd - Derby 'B' - Engine Sidings No.1 30yd MR Track. Swift vol 8. Hinson LM62/12 undated. 1.? 2. MR Type 1 3. MR type 2b. 2. Type 1, three 10' x 10' flakes with steps at south end and front facing east. Nameboard (20' wide) across front above horizontal beam. No apparent walkway.
3. Type 2b, four 10'x10' flakes. Steps toward traffic (facing station). Locking room windows in centre of two centre flakes and on ends flush with front. At rear, locking room windows are flush with outer edges of the centre flakes. Railed walkway all round. Name-board over window at steps end but at non-steps end it is between walkway and bottom of windows. North facing (non-steps end) roof is glazed. Finials at each end. Two full sized opening windows at rear of each centre flake but inner half of each end flake is filled in - stove located there. Locking room door under steps flush with rear of box.
